Linskys Wireless Router?

My linksys wireless router isnt working for xbox live or me and my brothers labtops. It is connected to the internet and everything but it says the setting on our labtop isnt corresponding to the settings on the router. All answers will be appreciated

Go to the routers IP address, click on the 'Settings' tab and select DHCP in the drop-down menu (automatic)....the problem is it might be set on static ip but your broadband supplier randomly changes your ip
