  1. If you want to install a win modem in linux. its about impossible dude. because the win modems only work on windows. for linux your internal modem wont work as all af them are only made for windows. they are therefor called soft modems.
    Anyway its along story. if you want to use internet on linux. use dsl routes or external modem.
