I have burnt an ISO image containing Ubuntu, and when I insert it into my newly built computer, it goes upto 24% and then says that the files cannot be copied. I've tried to install it about 3 times, each time failed at 24% with the same problem. the Burner I use is Active ISO Burner 1.1, so could that be the problem? Or was it the DVD itself? Or have I done something wrong. Feel free to e-mail me directly, thanks.

  1. Try burning at the slowest speed possible. I use ImgBurn, with a speed 4x.

  2. It sounds as though the CD may be defective. Try burning another CD at a slower speed.

    LUg.
