Brisbane have been terrible of late and may struggle to make the final 8, with most off its stars nearing the end of their career is Matthews also coming to the end!!!

They'd be mad to sack Lethal.  He's a proven winner, and he's shown he can rebuild a team.

Same thing is happening at Collingwood. I have noticed a trend this season: All the teams that were out of form earlier in the season are really stepping up, and those teams that have played pretty well are now losing games.

I think that the Lions and the Pies (and even the Saints) need to find some consistency, if they want to play finals and challenge the top teams.

every team goes through a period where they just dont make the 8 and this is just ours...

if this period becomes a 6 or 7 year period then yeh.. maybe they should look at a new coach but it was only 4 years ago that they made the grand final and 5 years since they won 1...

and every year since we have been in the running for the 8 from bout half way through the season so its not like there is no chance of making it like some other teams (ie melbourne)

which stars are u talking bout here anyway?? i agree that lappin will not be playing much more in the future but he has hardly played this season anyway. he is the only lions player over 30 so i would like 2 know where these other players are coming from..

black has said that he would like 2 play 4 another 2 years,

brown is only 26, power is 28, bradshaw is 30 in november but he has also said that he thinks there are a few more years left in him...

so who r these players???
