Lip Piercing &&+ Braces??

Ok Well. I have Been Wanting A Tiny Stud On The Right Of My Lip. BUT Soon I'm Getting Braces. I Was Planning On Getting This Piercing In Like 2 Weeks. But I'm Getting Braces In The Middle Of August...What Should I Do? [Btw I might get the clear braces...Are They Better?]

Bad mix. Any kind of metal should not be in or near your mouth...With or without braces. Do you know what piercings can do to your mouth?

Okay here's my advice if you want that peircing get it soon and then when it heals you will be ready 4 the braces... if you are going for invisaline... yea they look and feel alot better than medal braces... but, if your teeth are really bad then you have to have medal braces before invisaline reconstuctor plates. Having medal braces would most likely require you to have a plastic lipring in...

You might want to wait in getting your lip pierced. First of all when you get your braces on,you will be sore a week. So imagine if your lip get a little infected. That's double the work you will have to take care of. Be patient and once you have your braces on and are used to them,then get your lip pierced. Also the clear ones are good,but don't drink any dark liquids. Like soda. Clear braces intend to turn yellow after a period of time. But as long as your hygiene is good,you shouldn't have a problem.Good Luck♣

i have a friend with both

she tells me tht it gets stuck on the wire alot

and it gets annoying

but youll probably get used to it :]
