Lip-liner as eye-liner? Could it be Done?

Okay, so if I was ever out of eye-liner....do you think it'd be safe to use lip-liner? If it came in black, instead of red? Or would it irritate and damage my eye?

    I would rather just buy extra eye liner...but whatever...anyway why would you have BLACK lip liner???  :D:D:D:D
