Lip piercing, what do YOU think?

I'm 15, and I'm getting my lip pierced tomorrow. What do you guys think about piercings? I'm curious!

I think they are fun.

They don't show originality but they are cool to look at.

I'd love to get my lip pierced but certain jobs won't allow it.

Eh I think that's a little young for your age, but hey, it's your body, so you should do what you want to it. It's not like you're cutting your wrists or hurting others by just piercing your lip, ya know?

Wondering what you'll be thinking twenty years from now, when piercings go out of style and there you are left with a big gapinghole in your lip.

I love piercings, i find them really attractive. If you want it, go for it forget what some of the ignorant people think here, its your face, not theirs! By the way if you are in the UK there is no legal piercing age, so it's upto the place to decide on an age.

My only advice to you would be, dont chew on the back of the labret because it will grind down your teeth. Also, once the swelling has gone down make sure the labret is correctly fitted so it doesn't damage your teeth and if you can get one, get a PTFE labret :) That all will reduce the chance of tooth damage.

They look good on some people and horrible on others. I hate when people with skinny lips get a piercing.

Well they are alright if you enjoy them in your lip all the time but that is up to you. but since you are 15 and I'm taking it that you are in school. if you are in school most schools are banning Facial piercings (unless you have it in your ear then its ok) so that is it

Well i know its not a good place.because you cant get a piercing till your at least 16 and with parents consent...

Edit-But its true kids,no good place is going to pierce something young in the US..And i have always loved piercings and have 15 myself...

depends what your personal style is

i mean if ur kinda preppy - then dont get lip, eyebrow piercings ect.

however 1 of my friends has about 20 piercings nd shes 15 nd she really suits them

well, my boyfriend has snakebites, but i wont let him wear them when he kisses me, its kinda painfull, but it also feels good, i think theyre cute, but....i wouldnt reccomend them, hes gotten an infection from them, and it hurt alot....

Im turning 15 in November.

I want a lip piercing sooo bad for a while.Im not in any "clique" and I have full lips too.lol XD

so yeah,I think lip piercings and most piercings in general are really cool/facinating.ahaha xD

they are pretty kewl. I want to get one but my parents they keep screaming at me not to...your lucky that your getting a piercing.

when you have to clear out the pierceing wound have a glass of water with a little but of sea salt and gargleand try to make the water go through the wound.
