Lip piercing question?

I want to pierce my lip, but it's not allowed at my school, do clear plastic retainers really make it hard to see?

with retainers, unless the person knows what they're looking for, you really can't see it at all.

HOWEVER....acrylic (plastic) retainers should not be used for healing. glass or pyrex is what you're going to want to use. if you're going to get it pierced, get pierced with the retainer. you don't want to be changing out your jewelry all the time with a new piercing as it will slow down the healing process
