Lip piercing question

Ok i took off my lip piercing a good while back and now I've kind of been missing it. So I have decided to get it again. The little hole is completely healed now. However, I can still feel a little bump from the scar tissue it formed on the inside. Is it ok if I get it re-pierced in the same place? Or would it have to be a little more to the side?

  1. It will be ok if you pierce it in the same place, make sure you get it done at proper place so it dosnt get infected!

  2. well i had a monroe lip piercing and i took it out, 6months later i got it repierced in the same place, it just hurt abit more.

if you want it in the same place, ask the piercer what they think as they know best!

  3. Yeah, you can go and get pierced in the same spot. However, it will probably hurt considerably more, because piercing through scar tissue is more painful.

  4. if you can, get it done more to the side but i'v re-pierced an old piercing where there was a scar and had no problem what so ever
