Lips out of sync with sound?

Question

i have a tv series on dvd (and converted to wmv)

and it's getting annoying now that when they speak the lips are out of sync to the sound of what they are saying.

is there a software or ANY suggestions to correct this and put them in line with each other?

Consumer PCs don't have a reliable internal clock.  Professional studios use something called a SMPTE clock, which is a synchronising clock that keeps the two feeds in step.  You can get a SMPTE clock, but they aren't cheap.  The only way to lessen this effect is to try to free up as much system memory as possible and use as little processor power as possible while you rip it.

You just have to render it in high quality..

Make suer you close all other programs while rendering and do not use the computer until it is complete!
