I was told you are allowed liquids no more than 100mL in your carry-on luggage and you have to place them in a plastic bag.

Are we allowed to place liquids over 100mL in your check-in luguage?

Im traveling from Brisbane to Barcelona in September via Singapore Airlines and then Paris to Rome on Easyjet and then Rome back to Brisbane via Singapore Airlines.

  1. I would check with the airline to make sure , rules seem to change  alot .

  2. Travelling from the uk you can carry 100ml of liquid in a clear plastic bag.  All other liquid, lotions, creams etc have to be in your luggage that goes into the hold.  I think this will apply to all countries.  To be on the safe side ring the airline or maybe check it out on their website.

    happy travelling.

  3. yes you can try to not carry aerosols and be aware that the contents will be depressurized and may leak is a good idea to tape the lids on, then tie them up in a plastic bag, so you don't wreck your clothes with the stuff

something to consider easy jet bag allowance will be alot less then Singapore, consider leaving your liquids at home, normal 100ml weighs 100g so if the baggage allowance is tight you may get slugged with excess bag fees, if i were you id just buy mini versions of the liquids in Spain (its not mars) you can get the same stuff there in the supermarket

  4. carry the liquid in a lock pouch

  5. That is correct you can take 100ml (3 floz) on your carry on luggage in a sealable plastic bag.  Airport will have some spare if you can't get hold of one.   One bag per person.

Liquids include some kinds of makeup, some kinds of aersols, toothpaste, etc - so check with the airport security website.

The luggage that goes into the hold can take what size you want.

Remember to take out any over 100ml from your carry on - I forgot I put suncream in mine, as I used my carry on bag for visiting some family away from our accommodation, so it was promptly binned when I went through security.

    Enjoy your trip!
