Liquid cooled four wheeler?

i have a liquid cooled four wheeler. Yamaha 660r raptor. I was wondering if i could just put universal anti freeze or if there were a certain type of anti freeze that i have to use.

  1. The 660 Raptor is water cooled, and uses a 50/50 mix of anti freeze and water, but if you are going to be riding a lot of sand dunes, mix the water antifreeze more like 60/40, just to keep things a little cooler.

    Try to run the top line antifreeze like Peak or Prestone. Try to avoid the generic lables unless nessesary, like in an emergency.

    Peak and Prestone are great in all weather conditions, but go to your local dealership, and ask for engine ice. It is a coolant designed for racing and high performance machines. it has a guaruntee that it will keep the engine cooler in extreme conditions. Engine Ice is made Cycle Logic...

  3. Not really a racing question but what the h**l.

    The best coolant I have ever known is Rockoil Kool.

    I dont know if you can get it outside the UK, but its good stuff.

    Other then that, jut 50 / 50 water and anti. It wont do any harm.
