Liquid eyeliner pain?

i just got mac liquid eyeliner. it works great, but everytime i put it on it hurts a lot, like a stinging feeling right on my eyelid. so i tried a different eyeliner and it didnt hurt, so is it suppose to be stinging?

Eyeliner isn't suppose to sting, especially if you're applying it to your eyelid. It may sting if you actually get it in your eyes. If it's just stinging the skin around it, your eyes could be too sensitive for the product. Simply take it back for an exchange or a refund.

it is possible that you are mildly allergic to something they use in the mac liquid liner or you could have had a cut on your eye lid so small you couldnt see it.... essentally it shouldnt be stinging

yeah you might be allergic to it..dont keep using it if that happens

Liquid eyeliners should go on the out side rim of your eye. DO NOT OUT IT ON THE INNER EYE LINE!!! It will hurt very badly!
