About liquid problem?

Can I buy some liquid or cream items, such as wine and makeup things in the duty free store after checking in on JFK airport and take them on the plane with me? And, how about food (I do not like the food on the plane, thanks.

Now, liquids: Yes, if you bought wine in the duty-free store you could take it on the plane with you. (In fact, you would have to.) But unless you are on a flight out of the country, you won't be able to.
