Liquid regulations on flights?

is it only on international flights there is the limit of 100ml of liquids in carry on luggage or does it apply to flights within Australia?

Yes it does.

Its everywhere in the world.

No matter where you travel from or to, you have to keep your luggage liquids at 100ml.

A bit of a bummer, but also a good thing as there can be on explosions on the plane.
