Ugh! I spilled some toilet bowl cleaner on my faucet and it turned the chrome color a yellowish color. It looks terrible. What do I do to fix it? Can I get it back the way it was? Should I use more toilet bowl cleaner to make it even? I don't want to spend a whole lot of money on a stupid spill.....Help!

  1. It's done for.  The cleaner has acid in it and ate the finish off the chrome.  Making it even won't make it any better looking as it won't be an even discoloring.

Replacing the faucet is only as expensive as you want it to be.  They range from 20 to 500 dollars.  All the hook ups are already there, and replacing it should be a pretty straight forward thing
