  1. multiply by the density of liquid toluene in kg/m^3, then multiply by 60 to convert from hour to minutes.

  2. The mass flowrate is dependent on the density, which will vary somewhat with temperature.

The wikipedia gives the density of toluene at .8669 gm/ml at standard conditions.

since there are a 1000 gm in a kilogram and a million ml in a cubic meter

    .8669 gm/ml is the same as 866.9 kg/m^3

    so, 175 m^3/hr * 866.9 kg/m^3 = 151708 kg/hr

    or 2528 kg/min

that is a very big flowrate of toluene.

    be careful
