Lisandro Lopez brace gives http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 three points against AJ Auxerre – Ligue 1 news
Argentine international scored two goals at the Stade Abbe-Deschamps to end Olympique Lyonnais’ recent run of defeats.
Week 15 of the 2011/2012 Ligue 1 Championelle saw Lyon finally return to winning ways by defeating http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/AJ-Auxerre-c38247 3-0. Lisandro Lopez scored two goals for Les Gones in his first start for the side since coming back from a lengthy injury spell. The third goal
was scored by Michel Bastos.
Ahead of this encounter, Lyon had already lost four away games in a row and the side desperately needed confidence after their chances of qualifying for the knockout phases of the Champions League all but ended after a 0-0 draw against Ajax.
A lot of changes were made to the side that drew a stalemate against Ajax a few nights ago. Remi Garde opted to drop http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ederson-c11880 in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Lopez who headed the ball in the goal to score his first goal since coming back to the first team.
Auxerre could have been awarded two penalties. First it was http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dejan-Lovren-c10779 whose challenge brought Kenyan striker Dennis Oliech down and then, Cris’ foul just outside the box resulted in a freekick for the Burgundy club.

The second half began in very much the same fashion as the first half. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michel-Bastos-c25461 almost scored the goal of the season when the winger collected a ball just ten metres outside his own box. His accelerated run that covered almost all
of the ground was later stopped by a Sorin save.
However, Lyon were not to be denied of another goal as Lisandro Lopez received a wonderfully chipped ball from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jimmy-Briand-c18553. The Argentine international cut inside before chipping the ball audaciously over Sorin to complete his first brace of the season.
With twenty minutes left, Lisandro Lopez was called back to the bench as Remi Garde did not want to risk a player who had just returned from a lengthy layoff.

A great performance from Lyon was capped off when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kim-c20955 Kallstrom nicked the ball from Delvin N’Dinga. The Swedish international then fed the ball to Bastos whose excellent finish made it 3-0 to Lyon. This was the Brazilian’s fifth goal of the campaign.
The result now takes Lyon to fifth place in the Ligue 1 standings while Auxerre are just a few points behind the relegation zone.
