Liscahane Razl to steal the Banks Bitter Stakes at Monmore
Most likely to grab the Banks Bitter Stakes is the 2 to 1 entry, Liscahane Razl. Competing alongside her for the £150 prize money are Glenbane Mile, Maxines Fancy, Erics Lass, Cuil Marian, and Klockwork Looney.
The race will be held at Monmore over a distance of 630 metres on Thursday, 28th June.
Razldazl Billy’s four-year-old black daughter, out of b***h Liscahane Fancy, penetrated into her 2012 campaign on 7th January in the Ladbrokes.Com 480. It was won by Maireads Hawk, the favourite, who timed the track distance in 28.21 seconds.
Liscahane Razl finished the closest to the winner after racing for 28.27 seconds.
She remained unsuccessful in the next four races, and then struck back-to-back victories. On 30th April, the four-year-old won a 480 metres race at Perry Barr by reaching the other end of the wire in 29.07 seconds, and enjoyed 3 ¾ lengths victory over the rest of the field, as Aughacasla Adma, finished as the runner-up.
She then had the 480 metres track distance under her control in 29.18 seconds on 5th May at Perry Barr, and kept the runner up, Rush Of Blood, adrift by 1 ¼ lengths.
If she had planned for a hat trick, the thought remained far flung due to the third place finish in the Grade A1 480 metres flat race on 11th May at Perry Barr.
The race was won by the favourite, River Slaney, who completed the trip in 28.68 seconds. Missing the race by 2 ¾ lengths, and settling in second place was, Movealong Joker.
She then lost the two races that followed, and then once more downed back-to-back races. The S. Ralph trained won a Grade A1 480 metres flat race on 2nd June at Perry Barr by making it to the other end of the wire in 28.59 seconds.
The four-year-old then captured a Grade A1 480 metres flat race on 9th June at Perry Barr.
She finished fifth in her most recent try, but now she is getting another chance for redemption. Among the other candidates, only Erics Lass has won recently, thus the bar set for the competition is not very high.
