Liscensed to sell group suppliment insurance? (how to)?

My boss had a meeting last week with some people looking for suppliment insurance, but he didn't realize you need a liscense to do so.

My question is: how do you get liscensed in Missouri or just in general.

Any info would be appreciated such as

-link to a book to prepare for an exam.

-places to take the exam

-name of the exam

Seriously anything. I've only been working here a week and i have absolutely no background in insurance so knowing this would make me sound like the f'in man eh.

P.S. You don't need a license to look for supplemental insurance. You need a license to sell it.
