Lisheen Scolari in the limelight for the Grade A2 470 metres flat race at Belle Vue
Having put forth substantial success for proving lethal in the Grade A2 470 metres flat race is the three-year-old black hound, Lisheen Scolari. The race will be hosted by Belle Vue on Wednesday, 4th July, and will reward the winner with the £76 prize money.
Sharing the 470 metres track with, Lisheen Scolari, will be Bower Osprey, Swift Crown, Twilight Tiger, Jumeirah Banjo, and Bowtime Jack.
Droopys Scolari’s three-year-old struck the debut success of the season on 24th January, 2012 in a 470 metres race at Belle Vue by heading in front with two and one-half length lead in 29.51 seconds, while setting Magna Banjo as the runner-up.
The D. Fillingham trained then took charge of a 470 metres race at Belle Vue on 9th February, 2012 by completing the trip in 29.63 seconds. Finishing the closest to the winner was, Swords Tosh.
Lisheen Scolari broke into an early swift pace, and led first in a Grade A3 470 metres flat race on 29th February, 2012 at Belle Vue. The early lead took him 28.17 seconds to conclude the race, and lead by a four length margin.
Taking up the second slot after getting crowded was, Centaur Rosie.
The three-year-old, out of b***h January Robin, won a Grade A2 470 metres on 14th March, 2012, by leading half way through, and then going wide. The strategy took him 28.17 seconds to close in on the distance with 2 ¾ lengths margin.
Boozed Celeb qualified as the runner up after racing for 28.39 seconds.
25th May saw him win the Grade A2 470 metres flat race at Belle Vue. The three-year-old set into an early pace, and stayed towards the middle, and then went wide to sort the race in 28.35 seconds.
His most recent victory was in a 470 metres race at Belle Vue on 30th June, 2012. This one he bagged in 28.51 seconds, and defeated the runner up, Glenvale Louis, by 1 ¾ lengths.
He will need to look out for Jumeirah Banjo, who has been pretty consistent since the last four races, and might reinforce it today.
