Lissom Jack to swing back into form for the Williamhill.Com Sprint Division B at Newcastle

The Williamhill.Com Sprint Division B will get contested by Goonsosure, Ballymac Oma, Lissom Jack, Farneys Mark, Slippy Phanter and Dunion Wells. The race will be held at Newcastle over 290 metres flat on Saturday, 12th May.
The leading entry with the most appealing credentials is Eskimo Jack’s two-year-old black dog out of b***h, Fantastic. He did not start racing out right rather he practiced over 261 metres on 27th January and raced through the distance in 16.02
seconds.
The first career outing had him winning a 435 metres race at Pelaw Grange on 3rd February. He clocked the track distance in 27.09 seconds and led the runner up of the race, Hands On Dec, by 2 ¼ lengths.
After scoring second in a 435 metres race at Pelaw Grange on 10th February, Lissom Jack went through a pair of training sessions. Both the drills were at Pelaw Grange, on 2nd March the 435 metres distance was covered in 26.18 seconds
while the next one was over 245 metres and took 14.95 seconds.
The two races that followed right after the training ended in a fourth and then third position.
The third try after 18th March made Lissom Jack win the Stadium Bookmakers Puppy Sprint Trophy on 9th April at Nottingham. The 5/2 joint favourite completed the trip in 18.11 seconds and led the other joint favourite, Rushmoor Tony,
by 2 ¼ lengths. The runner up timed the track distance in 18.29 seconds.
Erics Lass settled third behind the winner after racing for 18.41 seconds.
On 16th April the two-year-old won the Molson Coors Sprint Trophy at Nottingham over 305 metres by making it to the other end of the wire in 18.19 seconds. He took charge of the final four lengths of the track and made Funcheon Black time the
distance in 18.51 seconds.
The Williamhill.Com Sprint on 21st April at Newcastle could not entitle him to a hat trick as Lissom Jack finished sixth after racing for 17.86 seconds.
His most recent try resulted in a third position in a 305 metres race at Nottingham.
Improving to a third position from the sixth ranking indicates his ability to make the most out of the chance tonight.
