  1. guard cells are regular in shape.but epidermal cells are irregular in shape.

    epidermal cells are comparitively bigger than guard cells.

    2 ) Guard cells are much smaller than the epidermal cells

    3 ) They have bean or Kidney shape in dicots and dumbell shape in monocots especially grasses

    4 ) The cell walls of guard cells are not uniform . Inner walls are thicker than the outer walls . Epidermal cells are uniformly thin .
