5 is a bit more than I wish to answer.

deflation:  electronics.  If you were to buy a high end computer 5 years ago, a computer with the same processing power would cost less today.

inflation:  tequila costs twice as much as it did five years ago due to an agave shortage.

what I am going to do about it:  drink less tequila and spend the same ammount of money on a computer but get a much better one.
