    1. germany was to take full blame for the war and pay all war costs. In My mind this was a wrong punishment for a country who didnt even start the war. just beacuse they were a big bad powerful country dosent mean they needed to be punishied. i think this was pushed for beacues germany was a world power and other countries were scared to have it being so imperilistic so they made the country as a whole look bad so it would loose support from ohter countries backing it.

    2. Germany was not allowed to have an army after ww1 beacuse the were so destructive in the war. again i feel that this is wrong beacuse germany didnt start the war and that they shouldnt be punished this harshly for it. This also comes into play with my theory that other counties involved with the treaty didnt want germany to rise up in aganst and kill them all.

    3. The leauge of nations was established in this treaty to prevent antoer world war. i think it was fdr who propossed this in his 14 point plan for world peace and this was the only point that made it. it died out later from lack of people using it so it didnt work.

    hope this helps

  2. The main parts of the treaty are:

    1. The war was Germany's fault and they had to pay

         reparations for causing the war.

    2. Germany lost all of it's colonies in Africa, to the British and

French and all of it's colonies in Asia to the Japanese and

          British.

    3. Britain and France split up the Middle East which set up

all of the problems there are with Palestine/Israel, Lebanon,

and Iraq. But that is another story.

    4. Alot of new European nations are created from the former

Austrian- Hungarian Empire, Russia, and Germany in

Eastern and Central Europe. These countries are:

        a. Poland, b. Czechoslovokia, c. Finland, d. Yugoslavia,

        e. Latvia, f. Estonia, and g. Lithuania.

    5. Germany's military is limited to 100,000 men, no airforce,

         a small navy, no submarines.

    6. Freedom of the seas is accepted by all signers.

    7. A League of Nations is adopted to assure World Peace.

       The Big 4 Leaders   Wilson--USA, Orlando---Italy,

        Lloyd George---Great Britain, and Clemenceau----France.

The treaty incorporated Woodrow Wilson's, USA president,

14pts Points. The USA never accepted the treaty,we wished

to go back to an Isolationist Policy. There were no enforcers

of this treaty and within 14 years the treaty was flaunted by

the Totalitarian States of Japan, Italy, and Germany who

used their disastisfaction with the treaty to push for forcibly

taking territory away from their neighbors thus resulting in

       World War 2.
