    a co-op

    clubs/activities at the library

    youth center

    volunteering

  2. play compuetr games...play ludo...n yeah try to do some acting whole sitting alone...hehehehe..any type of acting...u will enjoy urself wether u r alone..

  3. Contact your local Homeschooling State Association.  Get the names of HS Support Groups in your area.  Call them and find out about Co-ops, Chess Clubs, Art Classes, etc. in your area.

If you do not know who your local organization is, go to www.HSLDA.org, (Home School Legal Defense).  They have listings.  (It may be www.hslda.com)

If you can, there are great Summer Camps all over the country, (for Home Schooles).

There is plenty to do if you look in the right place.

  4. Here are some ideas:

Swimming would be a great physical activity if you have knee problems.

  5. Go to your local library and check out what activities are available locally. If their is any state or local science centers or animal sanctuaries you might be able to volunteer there.

Or look online for what hobby groups or clubs are active in your area.

  6. Try restorative Yoga or belly dance classes. Both can be modified to strengthen your knee without damaging it. Swimming is also great for weak joints. Take small walks when the weather is nice. Look in the paper for local events and classes. Call your parks department and find out what programs they offer. Contact 4H and see what you can do there. See if there are discussion groups or literary clubs at local coffee houses and book stores. Find out what local youth groups are doing or what charities need volunteers. Check out scouting organizations; Campfire Girls, Spiral Scouts, or Rainbow Girls. Do hospitals still have Candy Stripers? Do you play chess or cards? Organize a tournament. Are you fashion forward? Invite some young ladies over to look at magazines, watch some style network and then go shopping. Try it at outlets and secondhand stores and see if you can do the look for less.

The possibilities are endless, just use your imagination and go for it!

  7. My homeschooled daughters have been involved in such activities as:

    Girl Scouts

Soccer  and Dance (might not be such a good idea depending on your knees)

    Drama productions in the community

    Church groups, plays, get-togethers

    Art classes

    Cooking classes

if you have a camcorder, you can make fun home movies!

The other answer suggested you look up support groups in your area.  I gave you some links below.
