List of England’s unstoppable injured rugby players, Brad Barritt is the new addition
It looks as if injuries are plaguing England’s player now days. The list of injured players is growing with every day. This time Brad Barritt is the new addition in England’s injured players list.
Before Brad, Riki Flutey and Jonny Wilkinson were injured. Wilkinson is expected to be fit in 4 weeks time but Riki’s return to the rugby ground is not sure.
Injured Brad was only called in the team few days back to cover Riki Flutey but he himself got injured and it is expected that he will be out from rugby for 6 weeks due to this injury. He will miss the autumn international test matches.
One of his fingers broke badly in the match against Chiefs, where he was called in as a second half substitute and the Saracens also lost that match. England’s Rugby Union released him from camp to play in the Premiership match.
Brendan Venter, who is director of his professional club Saracens, also confirmed his injury and said, "That is a crisis. Brad has a compound fracture of his finger. He will definitely not play in the Test matches and I would say the best-case scenario is
that he will miss six weeks".
England will play 4 matches during this month against Australia, South Africa, Samoa and All Blacks. But now after injury, Brad will miss all the matches, which is a big loss for England, as it will disturb their team combination and England doesn’t want
to lose in the upcoming matches.
After meeting his specialist doctor, Brad revealed on Twitter that he was very disappointed about his injury but his specialist told him that he might be fit in 3 weeks time, which means that he can be playing by the end of this month.
If Brad gets fit in 3 weeks time then we will be watching him playing in the game against South Africa, which his fans would love to watch and we hope he will be fit in 3 weeks time.
