List of Rifle statistics?

Question

Does anyone know where i can find a site that would tell me information on various Assault Riflles, Machine Guns, and Sniper Rifles? If you know a book that would work tht i could find in a library that'd be great too. The types of facts im looking for are Effective range, maximum range, caliber, round size, length, weight, and such.

there is gundirectory.com, although that has mostly civilian weapons. Most of that general information can be found on the manufacturer's website. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.
