  1. Continental- strange grip that no one uses, a flat grip and is really strange when putting topspin on the ball.

Eastern-another flat grip that is easier to apply topspin too.

Semi-Western-grip right in the middle spin and flat.

Western-My personal favorite, can hit a lot of spin or somewhat flat.

Extreme Western-Grip that provides a lot of spin(clay court players use this or western)

Hawiian--Insane grip which hurts you and creates a whole crapload of spin.

  2. Eastern- Provides versatile power and spin.

Continental- Gives a huge range of where to hit the ball.

    Semi-Western- Provides power.

Western- Provides spin at the risk of power.

Hawaiian- Generates so much spin that tons of power is needed to allow the ball to get over the net before it dives to the ground.

  3. The Eastern grip will hit a "flatter" forehand with less spin[specify] on it than the Continental.

western grip (and its extreme variations), are some of the most radical grips used on the tour, mostly by clay-courters, and are used to create massive amounts of topspin.

continental grip is used for any shot, although it is mostly used now for the serve and volley.

semi-western grip. It gives a nice mix of spin and pace on the forehand, and offers ease to transition to the backhand grip.

thats all i got but i am not sure if its right
