List of agencies that provide early intervention services in Suffolk county.?

Question

I will be moving to Suffolk county, NY in July and would like to start contacting agencies now to set up employment. I know of Thera Care and Personal Touch, but cannot seem to find a comprehensive list of agencies that employ special education teachers to provide Early Intervention and or SEIT services. Can anyone help?

i worked for thercare-they were horrible-

had CDA (paraprofessionals) supervising teachers-with one person in teh office supervising teh paraprofessionals--

after I left a lot of people were fired or moved to other positions-heard from people still there-still many problems-

sorry to post this publically-but you do not allow email...I don't like publically talking about companies

look for Yahoo Groups on Early Intervention-there are a few-just don't know names offhand

Erie, I just found this directory through the New York Newsday website.

It has a list of agencies and organizations on Long Island providing  Disability Intervention Services through Early Intervention.  I hope this helps.

In my area, it would be through the county government and the school system.  Headstart possibly?   I'm not in NY though.  Best wishes!
