List of communes? please help,

i'm looking to live in a commune for a while when im older. the problem is, i cant seem to find any. please if you know of any websites that have communes in california or new york let me know. thank you so much!

I don't think you'll find any successful communes anywhere in the us. They were a fad in the 60s and 70s, but the longest lived communes that really worked are in Israel and are called Kibbutzim (which is the plural, Kibbutz is the singular).
