Also do you know of any with hardware in their hands?

Gerrie Coetzee. - He had the nickname "The Bionic Hand" because of his multiple hand surgeries.

Jeff Fenech. - He actually retired for a short period in the late 1980's because of chronic hand problems.

Thomas Hearns. - He broke his hand in the Marvin Hagler fight and had continuing problems the rest of his career.

Just off the top of my head.

I'm just going to add to the previous answerer who mentioned Coetzee, Fenech, and Hearns who had problems with their hands.  During the movie The Cinderella Man James J. Braddock apparently had problems with his right hand hurting it or breaking it on more than one occassion.  Another fighter of note that has had problems with his hands is Joe Calzaghe.

Paul Malignaggi- current IBF junior welterweight titleholder

Joe Calzaghe- current super middleweight and light heavyweight champion (probably explains why he slaps so much).

Floyd Mayweather, Jr.- current welterweight champion.
