for investment i want a list of indian higest divident paying companies in current year.

don't look for one aspect alone. if a comapny is paying good dividend and capital is depreciating is it ok?

I still think ONGC is the highest paying divident in stock investmetns.

But i do not know if it is available in the market.Well you know how India is, its a treasure if one could sell and we can know to buy it.

Generally in the stock market, people do not look at dividends for investing in a company.  People make profits out of the capital gains that they make out of the stocks.  When compared to the capital gains, the dividends will be a meager amount.

ONGC, Sesa Goa, L&T and Infosys are known for giving high dividends
