i would list them for sale. when people own the property they will take good care of it. with renting there is no guarantee that all of your tenants would inclined to take care of the condo, careless tenants will cause the property value to go down. you will be saddled with endless repairs which also can be very costly. if you try to recoup your losses, the legal fees could be higher than the cost of fixing the damage. talk to a rel  estate agent, it will cost you nothing and may save you a world of trouble. get yourself a lawyer too, and do it first. good luck
