List of schools offering experimental psychology (undergrad research)?

I am interesting in majoring in psychology, i think maybe experimental psych. however, i want to look for a college where i would be able to do research as an undergraduate. how do i go about looking for these types of colleges?

You can do undergrad research at *any* college.  There are no programs that are "better" or "worse" aside from issues dealing with the school itself (i.e. student/teacher ratio sizes).  You will not qualify to take a directed research class until you have completed sufficient upper division coursework.  Directed research isn't a class per-se, it's where you get one-on-one interaction with the prof, although you will often work closely with the grad students in reality.  However, you do receive full credit as if it were a class (and a grade).  Because of the way it is setup, you will not typically see these type of directed research opportunities listed in a schedule of courses.

    Also, you do not specialize in psychology at the undergrad level.  You take a curriculum consisting of general psychology which means classes from all subject areas so you are well rounded.

    Go with the most affordable college.  It's grad school where you begin to specialize and that's where substantially careful selection of a grad program is important.  Undergrad programs in psychology really do not matter where you attend, it's pretty much all the same, aside from school-specific issues I mentioned earlier.
