For instance, supposedly...

Americans are argumentative and agressive, whereas Japanese are reserved and humble

Americans are individualistic lovers of personal freedom, whereas Chinese tend to be group oriented

Americans are informal and nonhierarchical, whereas Indians believe titles should be respected

Americans are entrepreneurial and risk-seeking, whereas Saudi Arabians tend to be conservative, employing time-honored methods for getting things done

Americans are direct and interested in immediate returns, whereas Latin Americans take time to be social and get to know their business partners.

These are all stereotypes.
