  1. if you want a straigtener = invest in a one.. may be expensive but it worth it

shampoo & conditioner = Garnier Frutis Long and Strenght

always use a heat protectant product otherwise you may dry your hair..

    i use Tresemme Heat Tamer

    hope this is good enough.

  2. Well a lot depends on how you want to wear it. If you like it straight, then you don't really need curling irons or what not.  If you blow dry it daily I would suggest a heat protectant (if your hair is thin one that won't weigh it down, for coarse/other hair I would recommend paul mitchel's super skinny)  that will add shine and protect it.

Shampoos, again, if you have oily hair you'll want more of a daily clarifying one (you should get a clarifyer regardless to use at least once a week to give you a fresh start each week)  if you have thin hair I'd suggest a volumizing line (try matrix purple bottles) dry hair you might want to try biolage or nexus deep moisture (good if you have past color dmg)  if you have highlights or color, go with a color protectant.  Or you can skip all that and get one that goes with your natural color like John Frieda line brilliant burnette and what not.

As for a brush, get one with natural brisles and one wide tooth comb (for combing wet)  possibly a big round brush to give extra volume and /or curl the ends out or in while drying.

Hope that helps, sorry i can't be more specific, if you describe your hair and lifestyle a bit i can be.
