List of words going down, how to add a word at the end of every word?

I have a list like this:

1. apple

2. orange

3. banana

I want to add an extension word to the end so that the list says .mp3 at the end of each word like this

1.apple.mp3

2.orange.mp3

3.banana.mp3

The list is over a thousand words long which is why I can't do it manually

Open the list in Excel or Open Office, use the concatenation function.
