  1. Well mostly babies cry if they need to be changed or fed. Preschoolers or toddlers might throw temper tantrums if they want something.


  2. Through Sight, thats a big communication. Crying, they cry to let you know they need something. Toddlers are learning to speak and they may try to communicate through showing you a object or something they want to eat.

    vocalising

    gestures (signing if they have been taught)

    Toddlers

    pushing/hitting/biting/touching

    walking to an item and pulling you with them

    speaking (only beginning)

    drawing (although not everything will be understandable to an adult)
