  3. my kids love aluminum foil for some reason.  They will cover anything in it. weird but they have fun.  also HUGE cardboard boxes.  They cut out windows, color them.  They become a boat, a house, a rocket ship, you name it.

  4. animal farm...worked for me

  5. If your school allows it, try a class pet! Like maybe a hamster or fish! I know when I was a small child, my mom always had a 10 gallon tank with fish into it. And I would sit and watch those fish all the time. A few years ago when the fish died, my mom did not want to get anymore. So recently I got my own apartment when I moved away to go to school. And I called to ask for the fish tank. When my dad went to get it from the attic it had a big crack in it. So I went out and purchased a new one. I am doing an english degree in school, and anytime that I have writers block while I'm writing a paper, I sit and watch my fish for a while, and then for some reason my creativity is restored and I can finish my paper. They're good for creativity but they're also nice to have to teach kids responsiblity like feeding them.

  6. why not try some nature in your activities.......  grass, leaves. twigs, shells, rocks, sand, etc...The children can incorporate all of these items into their play to extend upon their experience. Ie

Shells in water with a little sand with some plastic crabs and turtles.

ie. use a branch to dip into a paint pot and paint with.

ie. Add some sand to paint for a different consistancy, do finger painting with it....  The ideas are endless
