Literature Dinner Party ( Antigone)?

umm... my english class is doing a project called "Literature Dinner Party" (probably dont need to know that). but anyways we have to make a place mat and bring some kind of food to represent our character or the significance it has to our character.

Example:

Nicola (from The Arms and the Man)

~the food: hors d' ouvres.

so it would be really helpful if you guys could think of a food to represent Antigone. (by Euripedes)

  1. How about a fruit and cheese platter, like berries and blue cheese, or melon and brie. Reason is Antigone is the child of an unnatural (incestuous) relationship between her father and her grandmother. Sweet fruit and salty cheese do not, on the surface, appear to be a pleasing match, but somehow they go down well. As it were.
