Well, i read that you can litter-box train my rat A LONG time ago and im still in the process of doing so. i know that you have to use a different substance in the litter-box than the regular bedding... but ive run out of the litter-box bedding. i just wanted to know if i could use my bird gravel?

All i want is an answer yes/no and why. none of that "i would suggest carefresh instead..." junk. please i really ONLY want to know if i can or not!!!

thank you for your answers... ill chose best answer as soon as i see a good one so answer fast!!!

 1. go to petco they will help

 2. I cant find anything that says yes or no. I wouldnt do this. Your fastest and most right answer you could get would be to call an exotics vet.

 3. Well if your rat doesnt eat this stuff I would say why not. I mean it's not toxic is it? If it isnt then it should be fine. My rats just go back to the cage when they need to go but if you litter box train it good on you. Just use the bird gravel. Good luck with your rat :)
