Question:

Little Girl's Birthday Party goodie bag idea?

My daughter is turning six and we are having it at a jumping place (place where they jump in those inflated jump houses).

I don't want to hand out yet another goodie bag filled with useless junk that gets broken after a second. Any good ideas on what to give out?? She's a girly girl but she'll also have boys at the party. I have 16 kids invited so nothing too expensive but willing to spend more money for something more substantial. Thanks! (BTW, I can't believe they don't have a section on parties in this forum. I put this question in the best category as I thought was appropriate. Thx)

  1. I would get them some reading books, maybe some small sketch books & markers/pencils/crayons, candy, juice boxes

    hope it helps! have fun!!

  2. get buckets and pails at the dollar store and draw their names on with majic markers.

Then get some summer toys in from the dollar store as well or target has cheap ones in packs

  3. I always like to keep things themed somehow to the party- even the goody bags.

you could always buy some punch ball balloons to hand out in different colors.  Check walmart and places like that in the toy and party aisles for them. I got a package of 4 of them at walmart for my son to play with at his party with his cousins for less than $2 and they were nice and big in bright colors.

The other thing you could do, but that would be kind of pricey, is buy a few packages of white T shirts  undershirts without pockets(get them in the BOYS section).  Go with a 6-8 size so they fit with a little room.  Then go get a package of iron transfers at the office supply for your computer and design a shirt. Print out the iron ons (be sure you do it mirror image on your printer when you set it up to print) and make a shirt for everyone to take home. Maybe with the name of the bounce place on it and some fun party things like balloons, streamers around it.  If nothing else the kids will wear them to play in, do art projects in or sleep in.  The shirts usually come about 5 in a package for about $6 at places like target or walmart so with 16 kids you'd probably only need 3 packages. For a large package of iron on transfers for the computer plan to spend about $10.  All in all about $30 for your party favor that would be something they could use and keep.

  4. what about a little paper pad, pencils, glue stick and packet of sequins....most girls love to craft.

  5. Juice Boxes

    Nail Polish

    Cheetos

    Candy

    Bubbles

  6. Bubbles

    Hair clips

    Lolly

    Small toy car

    Bouncy ball

    Mini magic painting book

    Any good?

  7. Since you're at an "inflatable" world why not things that are inflatatble like beach balls there kids can blow up and knock around, or something that bounces or jumps like bouncy balls or jump ropes. Check out Oriental Trading Company to order in bulk.

  8. When I plan parties for my kids, I go to this site, http://www.birthdayzbyshindigz.com/ and steal their ideas. They have a bunch of different goody bag ideas, but they're kind of expensive. I just go look through all the ideas, and then fin similar stuff locally, or order through Oriental Trading Company.
