Little League world series.....?

i just heard the Japan team say who their favorite players were......and it seemed like they all (9 of 12) liked Daisuke....i am just wondering why do you think they like him more than Ichiro (2 said him and one said Kaz Matsui)....the last 3 years almost 9 of the 12 liked Ichiro every year

Being a Mariner fan (i know were probably gonna lose 100 games, but i will like them through the best and worst of times), I am not being Ichiro bias or nothing........just wondering why they would change all of a sudden....i know its a different team, just curious

Probally bc Daiske was a Japanese superstar who won the World Series in America.  Not every player has the chance to do that and every lil leaguer wants that chance.
