Haha I've seen parts here and there but I've never really gotten into it.  Isn't Olive the little girl that enters that beauty pageant?  She's hideous!!!  I guess everyone is beautiful in their own way but come on now lol.

I love that movie. It is my favorite movie ever.  I think it sends a goood message. That whatever you think, no family is ideal and perfect, no matter what the media or other people try to tell you.

The characters themselves to me were very realistic. They teen boy that wants nothing to do with his family. The tough dad who wants to suceed, the grandpa with no limits. The g*y uncle with emotional troubles, the wannabe (uber cute) beauty queen little girl who is influenced by the media, and of course, the pushover mom who in the end just wants the best for her family

And then the beauty peagant scene made us realize what some little girl, even toddlers are pressured to be little perfect barbie dolls that shake thier butts on stage.

It made me think of Jeanne Bebbet Ramsey and todays culture

I love that movie. I like it at the end where she dedicated the dance to her grandpa.

Host: "Where is your grandpa now?"

Olive: "In the back seat of our car"

Or when the grandpa was was talking to the boy on what he should do a lot. And I love her glasses, they are dorky, but still awsome. I love abagail breslin. She is adorable.
