Little black beetle like bugs in my kitchen

SO i left my dishes in the sink for a few days and came home and saw like 5 little black beetle like bugs in my sink in a bowl swimming with soy milk. They aren't roaches they are real tiny and slender looking with like 6 little *** legs. I dont know what they are. I found a few in the cups in my cupboard and now they are even crawling on my counter. There are some in the sink every morning that I go into the kitchen and even on my paper towel. What are they and how can I get rid of them fast. I live in NYC should i tell management? Are they harmful to me?

What do they taste like? Don't they have a little 'crunch'?

Check your cereal, sugar, flour, corn meal, grits - (oops not grits in NYC) - (check all your dry foods and discard if you see black specks).

clean out your pantry and vacuum the little buggers up, then take the bag out of the vacuum and out of the house - then - spray with an indoor insecticide.

or hold a match in front of a can of hair spray while you blast them away, :-)
