Little black beetle looking bugs eating my plants and strawberries?

I have never seen these bugs before, I know they are not afids but not sure what they are

  2. i wouldn't recommend using pesticides for ur plants cause it could contaminate them so maybe you can build a glass wall around ur plants with a plastic covering it and water it and let sunlight go through? don't cover it too tight though... good luck and hope ur strawberries taste gooood

  3. The old soapy water trick might work.  Spray them down and watch to see if they leave.  Garlic might work, too.  Or you can do what we do on the farm and hose them down with some sweet chemicals from the Co-op.
