Little black spots on skin?

I've had them all over my skin for a while but now i want to know what they are and how to get rid of them. they're more like little dots. I don't think they're blackheads or sun spots but i'm not sure.

Where are these spots located? Do they rise above the skin or are they flat and blend with the skin? I have a few black spots that I can't figure out what they are either. There are two or three of them behind my ear and one on my scalp. They rise up a little from the surface of my skin and I sometimes they are itchy. I can't for the life of me figure out what they are though!

blackheads are underneath the skin. try to pop them. if you cant, then you might want to see a dermatologist. if its not acne (try your hardest to find out if it is before you see the doctor) then it could be skin cancer!
