ok, so for those of you that wanted me to tell you how things are going with my little brother (Jacob), here's an update (if you don't know what I'm talking about, check out my previous questions). i did talk to my parents, i was really nervous, but i did it. and they said that they have already been thinking and talking about it. they said that ever since they saw us together in that social workers office that they couldn't let us get split up again. the only reason that they didn't sign papers on the spot was because they wanted to pray about it, and talk it over with the rest of the family, and work out something with the room situation (i'm gonna get my own room soon, in the attic turned playroom that nobody uses so it's going to be turned my OWN room. [heck yes!!!!] so we're in the process of switching everyone around and stuff. so yeah, we're (me and my parents, not all the other kids) are going to go down there tomorrow and meet with Jake again, and they'll work something out.

  1. I'm so happy for you!  Good luck to you al!! :)

p.s.  That's cool that you ARE getting your own room at least for now :) (I'm not being a hypocrite.. I'm not AGAINST teens having their own room, I just get annoyed by people who say it's their right or something that you can't develop normally without...)

  2. Good for you! I understand how hard it is to be seperated from a sibling and then never see them again. My brother was taken when he was 4 and now he's like 11 and we don't know where he is. I'm happy for you!

  3. Thats great!

  4. Thanks for the update! I hope that everything works out well for your family like I know you deserve it to!
