What was the small jet that James Bond flew through a hanger or was this a 'movie prop'?

Sorry, but I don't remember the movie title.

  1. What he or she said.

  2. It was a BD-5J... A jet powered version of a small, home-built aircraft designed by Jim Bede in the 1960's.  This little micro-jet is still a popular item on the Internet, and while there are not many of the tiny airplanes actually in flying condition, there are several interest groups with web sites, and you can still buy plans to build your own airplane.

The BD-5J from the movie 'Octopussy' is on display in the Pima Air and Space Museum in Arizona
